A few days ago a family of little girls made headlines for their music video “An Open Letter To Lil Wayne.” However, an up-and-coming MC from New Orleans was moved to do the same thing several months prior. In fact, Dee-1 not only spoke openly to Lil Wayne, but he included Jay-Z and 50 Cent in his critique, “Jay, 50, and Weezy.” His commentary on how they effect their fans has earned over 300,000 views on Youtube thanks to honest lines like “Lil Weezy, flow off the heezy/ but we don’t feel your presence down in the Big Easy…”

Now he’s offering a full CD of music called “I Hope They Hear Me” available on his website Dee1music.com.
