At the 51st annual Grammy Awards Lil Wayne walked away with the best rap album award for Tha Carter III. Weezy F. was up against, T.I., Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco and Nas for the honor. After doing a Micheal Strahand-esque victory stomp he accepted the award from presenters T-Pain and Will.i.am.

Joined on stage by his family Wayne thanked “God, New Orleans, these people you see right here and thank you!”
