Last night the reunion episode of The Real World Brooklyn aired and one of the caste members, Devyn Simone posted a statement on her website, DevynSimone.com, about how her relationship with David was depicted on the show. It is unclear when she wrote this as the post is not dated.

Dear Fans and Viewers -
As many of you know, tonight’s episode portrayed me at a point in my life where I was transitioning from the end of a long-term relationship to new personal and professional endeavors. First and foremost, I will always share a great deal of affection and respect for David, as he and I have experienced extensive growth as a result of having each other in our lives. Unfortunately, due to the difficult nature the culmination of relationships entail, the producers of MTV Real World chose to illustrate the more turbulent times of our relationship. It is my hope that tonight’s episode encapsulated the spirit of The Real World Brooklyn and provided a poignant and meaningful example that resonates with viewers and creates dialogue about the struggles relevant to relationships in our lives.
