Was Ray J Trying To Sell A Reality Show with Whitney?

A recent Daily Beast story about the friendship of Ray J and Whitney Houston quotes some source accusing the reality star and singer of trying to pitch networks a reality series featuring he and Nippy. The source says, “He was just using her like many people did, to get a deal.” However, in a statement to the site, Ray J’s publicist Courtney Barnes writes: “It was his show, and they shot footage of the two of them together that appeared in the sizzle reel, which was being used to pitch the show.”
