Nas’ latest single “Accident Murderers” must be the hottest thing out. Quite a few rappers have hopped on the beat to do their own remix.

Ryan Leslie is the latest singer/rapper to put their own stamp on Nas and Rick Ross‘ ode to people who aren’t really about that life. While Rozay and Nas rap about soft cats trying to play tough in the streets, Leslie spits about a social outcast who does his best impersonation of a thug to gain some respect. The problem with the character in Leslie’s rhyme is everybody knows he is just putting on for the proverbial camera. The singer-songwriter spits, “But you ain’t never had the mind of a killer/ You was more of an actor, with the movement of a small time dealer.”
