There appears to be more in common between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. besides lots of money, lots of success, lots of problems with their mothers of their children, and yeah, lots of ego. 50 Cent has launched a new business venture called TMT Promotions. Yes, that acronym is short for The Money Team.

Stiletto Jill.com reports that “TMT promotions has been licensed to promote fights in New York and is in the process of applying for a license in Nevada as well.” And according to SI.com, Curtis is expected to soon sign former featherweight title holder Yuri Gamboa and super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell to his roster of clients.

They report:

Mayweather hinted in April that Jackson would be getting involved in the fight game during a conference call to promote his fight against Miguel Cotto.

“I think he’s going to be involved on the promotion side,” Mayweather said at the time. “We may even put him out there, let him fight on pay-per-view one time. So we don’t really know what the future holds, but he is getting involved with boxing.”
