Meet The Crazy Mofos Responsible For “Black Dynamite” [VIDEO]

Michael Jai White, Carl Jones and Byron Minns walk you through some of the badasssss production behind America’s favorite animated alpha male, “Black Dynamite.”

“He’s kind of a mix of Shaft, Superfly and Mack all rolled into one,” explains producer and voice of Black Dynamite, Michael Jai White.

While the 2009 film served as a kind of homage to the Blaxploitation era, the animated series goes deeper into what the lives of these characters would have been like. One complete season can take sixty-two weeks to eighty-two weeks to complete, but White insists that all of the work has been worth it.

“This literally has been a dream come true for me. I’ve been acting for a long time and it’s rare that you get to affect the end result.”
