Singer-songwriter John Legend is further diversifying his portfolio. Legend just sold a sitcom to the Fox Network loosely based on his life.

Along with signing the deal with Fox for the sitcom, Legend will also be a producer on the as-yet-untitled show with his production company Get Lifted Films. The show centers around a man in his early twenties whose life is in disarray. While struggling to get his professional and social lives in order, he inherits the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings. The arrival of his siblings further sends the main character’s life into a tailspin and hilarity ensues.
