Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka is about to lighten the load of cash he’s sitting on. The “No Hands” rapper was ordered to pay an amount upwards of $501,000 in damages for a shooting that happened in North Carolina last year.

As the story goes, Wacka Flocka took his tour bus to a car stereo installation shop in Charlotte, North Carolina. Waka was looking into upgrade the sound system on the bus when he noticed two suspicious vehicles entering the store’s parking lot. Waka Flocka was wearing more than $100,000 worth of jewelry at the time.

Waka Flocka’s security teamed began firing shots when three men exited the suspicious vehicles, claiming the trio made threats against the rapper.  In the beginning, police believed the shooting was a result of a shootout between Waka Flocka and the victim Antonio Stukes. Stukes was also initially charged with attempted armed robbery, amongst other things. However, the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Antonio Stukes’ lawyer says his client was only trying to hand Waka Flocka his demo CD when he was shot for no good reason. A court agreed that Stukes should be compensated for being shot in the shoulder and ordered Waka Flocka and his mother’s management company Miznay Entertainment to pay up.
