At a meet and greet for his friend/artist Bizz, Philadelphia rapper Freeway took a moment to clear up some reports about his signing to Cash Money Records.

“I’m not signed to Cash Money,” he said with his Roc-A-Fella chain still swinging from his neck. “We’re still working things out right now. It started with me and Baby, he’s on The Stimulus Package [album] and we did some work together.”

The Stimulus Package is the album Freeway recorded with Seattle producer Jake One, which will be released on Rhyme Sayers Records this September.

As for The Roc Free had nothing but praise for his old boss Jay-Z and “D.O.A,” his most recent track. “Everything Hov drops is crazy. I’m waiting for that Blueprint 3 to drop.”

Bizz, who has strong affiliations with The Wu Tang Clan but hails from New Jersey was excited about his new project The Prince Of Jersey, but wanted no parts of the Joe Budden/Method Man beef.

“I don’t like the rap beef,” he said. “Shout to Budden and Redman. Shout to Meth. I don’t really do that. Let them work it out. I’m not takin’ no sides.”

To hear more of Bizz’s music before his album drops check out his Myspace Page or his new mix CD “The Countdown” hosted by DJ Lazy K.
