Last night comedian Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Pineapple Express) appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show to plug The Last Comic Standing.

He also talked about hosting VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors Dirty South and his days as a music teacher in Chicago for K thru 8th graders.

“I was sillier than the kids sometimes,” he told Fallon. “One time this kid was like ‘Mr. Robinson you need more discipline.'”

He shows off some of his music chops around the  7:00  mark where he breaks into a performance of Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story” on a keyboard. (props to Yardie)
