Hundreds of hip-hop fans braved threats of rain to gather in DUMBO for the sixth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.

Brooklyn Bodega brought together 3/5 of the producers of Illmatic (Large Professor, Pete Rock and DJ Premier) all on stage together for the first time in US history, united Q-Tip and Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey for an in-depth discussion on the late, great J Dilla for the first time ever on record, assembled a loaded line up of legendary DJs including the first session with DJ Rob Swift (of The X-ecutioners) and DJ Rhettmatic (of the Beat Junkies) since 1996 for tonight’s “Salute The DJ” and hosted De La Soul’s first major NYC show in 9 years.

Check out photos and videos from a historic weekend!
