McDonalds' 2011 Hiring Day Hit & RunThe woman who ran over a group of people in the parking lot of a McDonalds in Cleveland, OH surrendered to police today, April 21st.  She was wanted for felonious assault.

Stacey Matthews, 25, turned herself in at 11am after reports of her being wanted were made public.

From NewsNet5 in Cleveland:

Cleveland police spokesperson Sammy Morris said two women got out of a silver Nissan Infiniti in the restaurant’s parking lot. The two women then got into an argument with a group of women who were waiting in line to apply for jobs, police said. That’s when things turned physical.

After the fight, the two suspects returned to the car. Since there were so many people in the McDonald’s parking lot trying to seek employment, the women couldn’t drive forward, police said. Instead, the driver put the car in reverse with the car door still open, authorities said.

According to Cleveland police, the driver hit four people with the car while trying to get out of the parking lot. Police said three adults and a 17-year-old girl were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, but their injuries do not appear to be serious.
