As an artist/DJ signed to Rick Ross’ popular Maybach Music Group, as well as a radio DJ on WHTA Hot 107.9 in Atlanta and on Sirius Satellite radio, DJ Scream is quickly approaching veteran’s status.

The Atlanta native is a self proclaimed, ’80’s Baby’, who remembers falling head over heels in love with DJing at 6-years old.

Looking up to certified turntablists like DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier and Mr. DJ from Outkast,  Scream focused on his skills, and before long was winning local battles and making a name for himself. He also DJ’d parties and made mixtapes (100 tapes a year for three years straight) but when he saw DJs like Clue and Flex start getting record deals for albums, he knew where his future would be.

Today, Scream  makes it his business to break  new music coming from the South on his radio show, Hood Rich Radio, every Sunday night from 8-10pm on Atlanta’s 107.9, and every Wednesday 10-12pm on Sirius’ Hip-Hop Nation. He’s currently working on his official debut album, set for release on Ross’s MMG label, and he just dropped Ross’ most recent, critically acclaimed mixtape, Rich Forever.

“There’s no ceiling,” he says when asked where he’s going. “A lot of people say the top, but you can’t have no limitations…you gotta fly!”
