Just when you thought rap’s queen and princess could agree to disagree, Lil Kim throws gas on the fire. Last night, the Queen Bee was a guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live promoting her new single, “If You Love Me.” At first, it seemed like Nicki Minaj was a topic which wouldn’t be addressed. However, the other guest, Morning Joe’s Willie Geist, set it off by asking how Kim felt about “a certain female rapper who bit her style.” Kim, ever the diplomat, tried to evade the question. After being pressed a little more in a game of Plead The Fifth, Kim deadpanned, “If you have to make a song called ‘Stupid Hoe’, then you must be a stupid hoe.”
Although this beef is tired and needs to be put to sleep, can you really blame Kim for saying that? Although Nicki Minaj would never admit it, we all know in which female rapper’s direction “Stupid Hoe” was aimed at. These two need to either have a legit rap battle at Fight Klub or be quiet and have a seat.
