Former supermodel and current film and TV producer, Tyra Banks, graduated with a certificate from the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Tyra said she returned to school (she dropped out of Loyola Marymount University to pursue modeling at 17) in order to better her business. She told CBS News in 2011, “In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best.”
Clearly proud, Tyra tweeted the following picture and wrote, “Smiling ear2ear on the Harvard Business School campus w/ my diploma! Tnx 2 my fab photographer mama 4 the pic!” Congratulations, Tyra.
