When Sony Entertainment released a posthumous Michael Jackson project, there were plenty of people who believed Michael Jackson didn’t sing on the album. Writers and producers, along with the music label, denied those claims. It seems the speculation from skeptical fans may hold some weight.

According to TMZ, Michael Jackson’ daughter, Paris, told her friends her father had no part of the final Michael Jackson album. The video chat was recorded back in 2008 around the time the project was about to be delivered to shelves. Paris Jackson claims the voice singing on Michael is a soundalike singer named Jason Malachi. Jason Malachi and Sony Entertainment have denied Jason Malachi’s involvement.

In the video chat, Paris is said to have played “Hold My Hand,” a duet between Michael Jackson and Akon.  A friend asks why the voice doesn’t sound like the King of Pop and Paris responds, “It’s NOT him … the whole album isn’t even him!! Go online … go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That’s him!! I should know if it’s him or not because he would sing to me all the time.”

Check out the videos below. Do Jason Malachi and Michael Jackson have similar voices? Who do you believe in this situation?

Head over to TMZ for details.
