West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar has signed a deal which would formally make him a member of the Interscope Records family. According to reports, the “Rigamortis” rapper’s deal is a joint venture between Lamar’s indie imprint, Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath, and Interscope Records.
Top Dawg Entertainment head, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith says Kendrick’s debut album will have all three record labels apart of his project. However, other acts on the Top Dawg roster will have their projects backed by Top Dawg Entertainment and Interscope Records. With Kendrick Lamar finally getting a major label machine behind him, there’s no telling how far Kendrick’s career can go because that dud can spit.
