Actress Whoopi Goldberg is quietly one of the most hard working people in show business. As if hosting The View and producing the Broadway musical, “Sister Act” weren’t enough, Goldberg is set to direct a documentary on the pioneering female comedienne Moms Mabley.
Titled “I Got Somethin’ To Tell You,” after her landmark 1963 comedy album, the documentary will focus on Mabley’s influence on the world of comedy and her legacy. There is no set date of when it will air or who will distribute the film. We will keep you posted as details reveal themselves.
