Just when things were starting to turn around for hip-hop producer Scott Storch, he gets sued again. Storch, known for his work with The Roots and Dr. Dre, is being sued by aspiring artist Treena Ruberg because she claims she paid Storch tens of thousands to produce tracks for her debut album. She alleges he spent the money on booger sugar and not working on material for her project.

According to Ruberg’s lawsuit, which was filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Scott Storch agreed to produce six songs for Treena Ruberg for $45,000. Ruberg gave $30,000 up front back in October of 2011. Ruberg says the producer disclosed his drug problem to her, but swore up and down he was clean and would be able to produce the music she needed by the end of November. But Treena maintains Storch was lying when he said he was “cured of his past problem” because his drug use continued and he had other personal issues which made him unable to deliver on is part of their agreement.

Treena Ruberg is suing the “Still D.R.E.” beatsmith for the 30 grand she paid him plus another 70 thousand for other expenses like studio time, airfare, and hiring another music producer. Scott Storch and his lawyers have yet to respond to the lawsuit.
