After making history with back-to-back performances at Carnegie Hall, Jay-Z is headlining the first Budweiser Made in America music festival in Philadelphia. The show will be produced by Live Nation and promises to bring as many as 28 acts to the city’s Fairmont Park on September 1st and 2nd.

The official announcement will be made at a Monday morning news conference where Jigga Man will be joined by Philly’s major Michael A. Nutter. Proceeds from the festival will got to local non-profits via United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

There has been speculation that Jay-Z will use either the press conference or the show to finally bury the hatchet with former Roc-A-Fella bandmate (and Philly native) Beanie Sigel, who has been feuding with Hov for the past few years. Either way this will be a must-have ticket. It will be a fitting close to a summer of Jay-Z that includes opening the 2012 Olympic Games and preparing to bring his Brooklyn Nets to their new home.
