The pending divorce from his estranged wife, Jennifer Williams, isn’t the only fighting Eric Williams will be doing in court. The former NBA player was just slapped with a child support lawsuit.
Eric Williams is being sued by Tavia Serena Cannon, who filed a child support claim in Pennsylvania last week. Cannon alleges she and Williams had a child together in October of 2011. She claims she works as a babysitter and only makes $300 a week. She is looking for Williams to cough some money and medical insurance for their love child. If we do the math, Eric and Tavia conceived the child around January/February of 2011. Williams was still married to Jennifer at the time. Jennifer didn’t file for divorce until June of 2011.

People close to Jennifer Williams’ camp says she was blindsided by the news of Eric’s secret love child with Tavia Cannon. Since Jennifer’s divorce from Eric Williams is still pending, Jennifer Williams could walk away with a little more change in her bank account if it comes back Eric Williams indeed conceived during their marriage. It would add further grounds to her reason for the dissolution of the couple’s marriage.
