Nicki Minaj Talks Tour, Movie, New Singles

Nicki Minaj has a whole lot going on and in a new interview with Teen.com, Nicki talked about a bevy of things she’s got going on. From her role in Ice Age: Continental Drift to the latest singles from her new album to its forthcoming arena tour, Nicki had much to talk about.

Teen.com: You play a wooly mammoth in the movie. We can’t say we necessarily saw you as that kind of animal as an alter ego for you! Were you surprised with the role? Were you excited?

Nicki: I was more excited than surprised. I didn’t care what they wanted me to play; I was definitely going to play it. I’m really, really honored to be a part of the movie. Even with just a small role, I’m honored and excited to be a part of something that’s been around for such a long time. I mean, this is the fourth installment, so it was a big deal for me. I think my character is pretty cool. She has a little flower in her hair. She is a mammoth, but she’s a beautiful mammoth.

Teen.com: Nicki is obviously one of your alter egos, so what’s the biggest difference between you, Onika, and the Nicki that fans know?

Nicki: Hahahaha! I can’t even believe you knew that name, Onika. Well, I think the biggest difference between Onika and Nicki is that Onika is more of a business woman and more of a thinker, but those are probably the only differences.

Teen.com: Now what about for you? Do you have more plans to release any more singles from Roman Reloaded?

Nicki: Yeah! We’re about to release “Pound the Alarm” and “Champion” simultaneously. I’m also about to shoot videos for a few other features as well.

Teen.com: Haha, amazing! Can we expect to see any special guests this time around?

Nicki: You know, I’m going to take 2 Chainz out with me for the US summer one, and then when I start doing the arenas in the fall, I’ll have two more special guests that I can’t wait to announce. I’m sure that every now and then, we’ll have some people that drop by based on what city we’re in.
