How much is Wiz Khalifa worth? Wiz is worth $11 million, according to most estimates, and that’s also the amount of money he earned between 2010 and 2011. That income level was good enough to land the Pittsburgh rapper on Forbes’ 2011 “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list, and coincidentally, he came in at no. 11, right behind Ludacris, who pulled in $12 million over the same period.

Wiz Khalifa’s wealth stems—put intended, given his avowed fondness for weed—on both his record sales and marketing savvy. The “Black and Yellow” rhymer scores big with merchandise, and according to Forbes, he makes more than $5 per head at his concerts, compared to $2 or $3 for other MCs. He sometimes rakes in $15 per head, which puts him in the same league as Taylor Swift and other mega pop stars. “Oh yeah, man, I’m going to make $100 million this year,” Wiz, who’s engaged to model, TV personality, and sometime musician Amber Rose, told Forbes in 2012. “No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open.”

That mixtape, Taylor Allderdice, is named for the high school the rapper attended in Pennsylvania, not far from where he and fiancé Amber Rose now share a luxurious five-bedroom home valued at $900,000. That’s a relatively modest sum by hip-hop standards, but we are talking suburban Pittsburgh, not New York or L.A. It’s perhaps further evidence of how smart Wiz Khalifa is with money, and we’re guessing the 24-year-old will give the other 2011 “Hip-Hop Cash Kings”—Jay-Z ($37 million), Diddy ($35 million), Kanye West ($16 million), Lil Wayne ($15), Birdman $(15 million), Eminem ($14 million), Snoop Dogg ($14 million), Dr. Dre ($14 million) and Akon ($13 million)—a run for their money.
