In a violation of several Man Laws, Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum sucker punched a Spanish opponent during an Olympic basketball game. Batum’s French squad, which included The Spurs Tony Parker, couldn’t hit a basket down the stretch and the frustrated player decided to focus on ball handling. Literally.

“I wanted to give them a good reason to flop,” Batum quipped of the crotch shot afterward, but later offered an apology on Twitter. The French were eliminated after the 66 to 59 loss, but Batum was not removed from the game.

Batum averaged 14 points per game for The Blazers last season in the NBA. No crotch shots though.
