The legal repercussions stemming from Drake and Chris Brown‘s infamous June bottle bashing altercation continue to wreak havoc on Club W.i.P. San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker is suing the nightclub to the tune of $20 million. He suffered an eye injury after being hit in the eye with a shard of glass during the melee. The owners of Club W.i.P. are responding to his lawsuit by asking a judge to dismiss the suit.
According to Parker’s lawsuit, he asserts the New York City nightclub should have known about the beef between Chris Brown and Drake before they entered the establishment. He believes Club W.i.P. should have never allowed the two opposing parties to be in the club at thew same time while consuming liquor. Parker blames the alcohol for helping to escalate an already volatile situation.

The owners of W.i.P. filed court papers saying Tony Parker has no reason to sue them because it’s not their job to keep an eye on a patron’s personal life before they step foot in their club. In the eyes of Club W.i.P., Tony Parker’s case is flimsy because their not responsible for being unaware of problems between Breezy and Drake. They want Tony Parker to nurse his eye injury as he kicks rocks. Club W.i.P.’s owners also want the judge to throw the case out all together. A ruling has yet to be made.
