If you judge by his record sales and feature appearances on a number of his fellow artists’ projects, Chris Brown has been able to rebound pretty well from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. The island of Guyana has not forgotten and is not rolling out the welcome mat for Chris Brown. Women’s rights groups in the South American country protested the singer’s Dec. 26 show, causing him to cancel the gig all together.

Brown was billed to headline a big show in the capital city of Georgetown, which was overshadowed by protesters and statements from opposition lawmakers. Rather than face the scrutiny, the Virginia native was said to be uneasy about the whole thing, and saw it best to pull out of the show. Guyana is the latest country to give a negative response to Brown’s international tour run. A group in Sweden used that now infamous image of Rihanna’s battered face to promote his show in the country.

But while some are still upset with Breezy for assaulting his ex, Rihanna has moved in an opposite direction. The 24-year-old flew to Berlin to attend Brown’s show in the German city. The former couple also partied at Adagio’s nightclub, and rode together in the same vehicle.
