ESPN anchor Stuart Scott is back in the battle for his life. He announced that he must start chemotherapy again because his cancer is out of remission. However, do not think the cancer and chemo will fully stop Scott’s schedule.

Scott posted a message on Twitter saying, “I’m back in the fight. C reared its head again. Chemo evry 2 weeks, but I’ll still work, still work out.”

While friends and fans tweeted their support for Scott, the sportscaster was showing support for disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong. Armstrong, a cancer survivor and founder of the Livestrong Foundation, was recently stripped of all seven of his Tour de France titles because it was proven he had been using performance enhancing drugs while competing. Throughout the whole ordeal, Armstrong denied the accusations. But on the day Stuart Scott announced his cancer had returned, Lance Armstrong taped a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey where he admitted he had been doping.

One of Scott’s Twitter followers asked him what he thought about Lance Armstrong’s actions and Stuart Scott said he’s grateful for Armstrong because he’s helped millions of cancer survivors, including himself. Some of Scott’s followers took issue with his position on Lance Armstrong, but Stuart Scott remained strong and will continue to support him and the Livestrong Foundation.

What do you think about Stuart Scott’s continued support of Lance Armstrong? we want to hear from you.
