Jim Jones was arrested on Wednesday following a confrontation with Fair Lawn, NJ police.  According to Sgt. James Corcoran, he was responding to a neighborhood complaint of an illegally parked car when Jones approached him and asked him to state his business.  When Corcoran ran Jones’ name through the police database, there were two warrants for his arrest– one for a motor vehicle violation and another for failure to clear snow from his sidewalk.

When Corcoran asked Jones to accompany to headquarters to settle the warrants,  Jones denied the warrants and became belligerent, according to police reports.  Jones was promptly arrested and taken into custody.
