Prince-Jimmy-Fallon

Sometimes who you are doesn’t excuse your behavior. Prince might have gone just a little overboard in this case. He performed his latest single “Bambi” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last Friday and after his performance he did a signature rockstar move and threw his guitar in the air.

Except it wasn’t his guitar. And it got damaged.

The guitar actually belonged to Captain Kirk Douglas of The Roots, who is also Fallon’s house band. According to Death and Taxes Mag, the Purple One asked to borrow the instrument after he rehearsed for his performance. *Steve Urkel voice* Look what you did…

The bad thing about it was not only did he damage the guitar, but when Douglas asked him to sign it, Prince declined. Oh, okay. You wanna ruin my stuff, but not even sign it? Prince smooth did this:

Kept. It. Movin’.

We understand. Sometimes you really just get caught in the moment. But replacing or getting it fixed would be nice. Watch his performance below.
