The good folks at Hip Hop DX posted a story that made us feel sort of sad. In an interview with Sway, Lil Kim admitted that it took her an uber long time to get over the death of her mentor Biggie Smalls. Grief and loss can be hard, and everyone deals with it their own way, but it seems sort of a melancholy existence for her to have  gone through her formative years of life still stressed or upset about loss. That’s a cherised love like most will never know.

It just goes to show, when you take a life, you don’t just end the life of that person. You forever affect those who loved that person too. Check Kim’s interview below.

We hope the next sixteen years are much brighter for Kim, everyone deserves happiness and light, period.
