How low can one go? It looks like this South Carolina man is as low as the dirt for pawning his wedding to spend a night with a prostitute.
Marvin Holmes II pawned his wedding ring for $20 — $20!! — to pick up prostitute Rhonda Kelley. They drove to a pawn shop, and after to a crackhouse where Kelley where bought crack. They then went to “mess around” afterward, according to Gawker.
Supposedly they didn’t finish what they were meant to do because Kelley wasn’t “acting right”, so Holmes went to drop her back off. Apparently, they were in a spot known for prostitution, and the police were watching the area, so they two were stopped.
Holmes told the police he was looking for a prostitute because he was having problems with his wife at home. Show of hands if you think Holmes is going to have more problems when his wife finds out he pawned his ring for a hooker?
