Cris Carter NFL Hall Of Fame

Cris Carter placed the exclamation point on the 50th induction ceremony for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night.  The celebrated wide receiver and ESPN analyst ended his 16-season career in the NFL with 1,101 catches for 13,899 yards and 130 touchdowns, finishing number two behind Jerry Rice. However, it took Carter six  tries to be inducted into the hall of fame. That oversight was finally corrected as he was the seventh and final inductee for the class of 2013.

“I appreciate the process you have to go through to get to be a Hall of Famer,” Carter said. “To be able to join these men on this stage in football heaven is the greatest day of my life.”

The other inductees were Jonathan Ogden, Dave Robinson, Larry Allen, Bill Parcells, Curley Culp andWarren Sapp.
