In 2013 Jamla MC Rapsody kept up her blistering recording pace by releasing her sixth mixtape, “She Got Game” just a year after her debut album, “The Idea Of Beautiful.” The set features Raekwon, Wale, Common, Phonte and Jay Electronica riding shotgun over beats by Denaun Porter, Khrysis, E. Jones and of course 9th Wonder.

Right before Christmas she released a video to the D.C. Comics inspired “Dark Knights,” where Rap took on the haunting Joker persona in full make-up.

“I’m a big fan of Christopher Nolan and the whole ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy,” she tells TheUrbanDaily.com in our next “Rhyme and Reason”  segment. “And I just saw a way that you could tie the movie into real life and have fun lyrically.”

Watch Rapsody spit her first verse from “Dark Knights” and explain how she plans to save hip-hop from all the bad rappers in your city.
