The 2014 NBA playoffs got underway this weekend and there were a few stunners in an already atypical bracket for this time of the season. With no Lakers, Knicks or Celtics in the mix for the first time ever, perennial also-rans like the Charlotte Bobcats and Washington Wizards get some time to shine. In the late night West Coast game The Portland Trail Blazers pulled out an overtime win against the Houston Rockets. Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge put up a franchise record 46 points and 18 rebounds.

Check out all of the other results from the NBA weekend in the gallery below:

According to TMZ, Baby “Birdman” Williams may have been watching a lot of HGTV, because he has taken out a $5 Million loan to remodel is $14 Million Miami mansion. One of the new amenities? A $250,000 chandelier that he posted on Instagram. Let’s hope he invests in some super sturdy shower curtain rods while he’s at it.

Wiz Khalifa celebrated the stoners holiday 4/20 by releasing a video to the track “Smokin Drink,” from his “Cabin Fever 2″ mixtape. Wiz looks like he’s in a commercial for a taxidermist as stuffed wild life play the background of this minimalist expression of chemical vice.

And what better way to celebrate the “420/ Easter” event horizon than hearing new album by N.O.R.E.? The Queens,NY rap vet offered up a stream of his new “Noreaster” project which features guest appearances by Styles P, Raekwon, Troy Ave, Good Belt Gang and more. [Props]
