And it continues…

After being called out by Dame Dash the other day on Instagram, Funk Flex voiced his opinion in a 20-minute rant praising and insulting Dash for his collars over the past few years within the music industry.

The feud began the other day after Dash posted a photo of Joie Manda, Interscope exec and former Def Jam president, and accused him of trying to divide and conquer several artists, including but not limited to Curren$y, Cam’ron and Jim Jones. He also referred to Manda as a “culture vulture” despite his urban roots and involvement in the hip hop club and graf scene. This led to their mutual friend, Funk Flex, defending Manda  on air. His response led to a back and forth Instagram battle with Dash until he went on air last night and voiced his opinion in its entirety.

Flex accused Dash of referring to Manda as a “culture vulture” because of his race and also pointed out that Dash has been profiting from the same people he’s calling “culture vultures” for the past few years.

“Culture vultures? What is that?People who are not of his color capitalizing on the culture? Is that what is being said? Don’t try to say you ever paid me to play records. Tell the story of how you was tryin’ to pay the person next to me to get me to play records. You remember that conversation?”

Flex also brought up the fact that Dame had another label deal after Roc-a-fella where he signed Curren$y and never paid him for any of the music that he put out while on the label. Curren$y cosigned via Twitter but did not say much in regards to the bigger issue at hand.

Things are getting a bit crazy as Dame Dash’s year of chaos continues.
