Man what in the name of Madame C.J. Walker is going on here? (If you don’t know who that is then look it up…learn your history!) So apparently a lady in New York who apparently had never heard of the Beyhive, or at the very least The Beygency, thought she was going to get away with starting a petition asking that Beyonce and Jay be forced to comb their daughter Blue Ivy‘s hair. No…really… don’t look at us like that it happened! Check out our friends over at Dish Nation for a look at what the petition had to say below!
Said the ” Comb Her Hair” petition,
“”As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It’s disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let’s get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair.”
Some fans have actually signed it, while others have done everything under the sun to retaliate against it’s creator Jasmine Tolliver for making it. Tolliver later tried to backtrack just to shut people up but to no avail. Tolliver claimed it was just a joke. Said Tolliver,
“If I would’ve said ‘sign a petition to save LeBron James hairline’ that would’ve took off too! It’s a clever joke! Nobody came up with before. These blogs and websites are doing the most. My hair looks like blue ivy right now except its moisturized and detangled. People make nothing out of something. I love being black! I’m proud my bloodline runs from Africa. I’m proud of my own tightly coiled kinks. I’m proud of my big lips and brown skin. People just need to breathe and chill out.”
We looked all though our bags and briefcases and can’t find an ounce of darn to give about this lady claiming it’s a joke now. If it was a joke then…it was one made at the expense of a child…who will someday have access to the internet and be able to Google her own name.
We suggest Miss Jasmine watch the video below before she attacks Yonce again anytime soon…she must really have underestimated the Beyhive…the poor girl never stood a chance!
