NBC is getting ready to murder the weekend ratings because “Saturday Night Live” has lined up a legendary episode!

Chris Rock returns to host the show on November 1! Prince only sweetened the pot by announcing that he and 3RDEYEGIRL would be performing as the musical guest that night.

November 1 will be a return to the show for Prince and Chris. Prince, who is topping two charts with his latest releases, performed on the show back in 1981. Chris was part of the cast for three seasons back in the early ‘90s before doing another hosting gig in 1996 and some guest spots. That’s more than enough time to star in a number of classic sketches that still have us rolling! Check out some of his best work below.

1. Chris Rock Reads Arizona For Not Wanting To Celebrate Martin Luther King Day

Chris couldn’t understand why people in Arizona weren’t trying to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by observing his day–or at least taking the free day off!

2. Chris Keeps It Real

Chris was super-militant as he reprised his famous character Nat X in the clip below. He had no patience for anyone—not even Mike Tyson! We don’t know how SNL got away with doing Blackface (don’t think we didn’t notice), but Chris was hilarious.

3. Chris Rock Gets Political

People forget this, but Chris called the 2008 Presidential Election in 2007!
