If you want your mind blown, just watch this tag-team performance of “Regulate” by Warren G and Kenny G.

The track is a 1990’s classic, one of the best rap and R&B collaborations of the G-Funk era. It was created by the dynamic duo of Warren G and Nate Dogg. Both artists would go on to become integral members of the West Coast rap movement. Sadly, Nate passed in 2011. So, for this performance, Kenny G paid tribute to Nate by performing his portions of the track as Nate’s vocals played in the background.

Warren G and Kenny G might seem like an unlikely pairing, but that’s the whole point. The performance was part of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and it was the final #MashUpMonday combination that the show cooked up. Previous mash-ups included Aloe Blacc and Blackstreet as Aloe Blaccstreet.
