As The Diplomats began their Pledge Of Allegiance Tour with Funkmaster Flex, Cam’ron got close to the people at a slightly smaller venue. The Harlem rapper took to a Five Guys restaurant in Times Square and briefly manned the register. REVOLT was on hand to capture the event, as Cam offered to take legendary DJ Red Alert’s order before a clearly excited crowd put an end to Cam’s brief stint in the food service industry.

It wasn’t all fun and games, as Cam’ron briefly got serious, paying his respect to Red Alert and revealing one of his favorite influences.

“I’m gonna keep it 100,” Cam said. “I love KRS-One for making ‘The Bridge Is Over,’ but my favorite rapper was Kool G Rap because he had the lisp. So I respect it.”

The Dipset is scheduled to perform at CPAC Nightclub in Brooklyn Saturday night, before their tour continues with stops in Connecticut and Austin, Texas for the South by Southwest Music Festival.
