March Madness is about to start, but here’s your reminder that the NFL is still a thing. The Bills and Eagles traded linebacker Kiko Alonso and running back LeSean McCoy.

They aren’t quite superstars, but the trade is notable because this is somewhat of a gamble. They’re both trading their pillars. McCoy has been one of the few sure things of that Eagles offense, averaging  1,319 yards last season. Alonso stood out in his 2013 rookie season and became part of a formidable linebacker core — and somewhat of a folk hero.

Will this work for both teams? We’ll find out when the season starts. Don’t fret, kickoff is only six months away.
