Talk show hosts from hip-hop backgrounds haven’t been doing so well. Queen Latifah‘s show was cancelled in 2014, and MC Serch‘s didn’t make it out of the test run phase. But Warner Bros. isn’t deterred by the lack of success or a Deadline article. So come on down, Ice T: You’re the next hip-hop OG to get his own talk show.

Ice T and Coco are getting ready to host a daytime talk show fittingly titled Ice & Coco. The new show from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution will air in FOX stations on both coasts during a three-week test run.

“We see this as another attempt to do something different — big personalities, new to the daypart,” said Frank Cicha, senior VP of programming. “Ice-T helped change popular culture. We’re trying to do the same thing for daytime.”

“It’s a fun show with our own style of hip, married humor and honesty,” said Ice T and Coco in a statement.

While the E! series Ice Loves Coco ended last year, Ice T still has a podcast and is part of Law & Order: SVU‘s cast. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to those jobs if in the slight chance Ice & Coco does get picked up for a season.

Ice & Coco‘s three-week run starts on Aug. 3.
