Michael B. Jordan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Fantastic Four, and while he should be excited about his role, the actor is getting tired of the comments about his character’s ethnicity.

In the superhero flick, he plays Johnny Storm who is the brother to Sue Storm (played by Kate Mara), who happens to be white. He visited Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about the project and the conversation turned to identity.

From The Hollywood Reporter.

“It’s kind of self-explanatory. It’s one of those things where I don’t like drawing attention to the ignorance sometimes,” he said. “You gotta let it be what it is.”

When Kimmel argued that people would ask this question, Jordan made it even clearer: “There’s a thing called adoption. It happens.”
