According to, one of Lil Wayne’s two tour busses was shot at after a show late Saturday night. Numerous sources confirmed Wayne and members of his crew performed at the West Atlanta nightclub, Compound, when violence broke out. TMZ reports the following:

“We’re told Weezy and a few other Young Money execs and artists—including Lil Twist and Hood—were on board at least one of the buses at the time of the shooting. It appears no one was injured, and it’s still unclear if Wayne was on board the bus that was hit.”

Officers reportedly responded after a member of Lil Wayne’s entourage called the police. Reports have the shooting occurring at roughly 3:30 a.m. EST.

This is the second time Lil Wayne’s bus has been in the news in recent weeks. On April 15 it was reported Wayne’s former tour bus driver was suing him for assault. Mark Jones claimed he was verbally assaulted by Lil Wayne and had the multiplatinum rapper hold a gun in his face during a 2014 tour. Jones is reportedly suing on the grounds of false imprisonment, assault, and emotional distress.
