Following all of the chaos regarding the title of Young Thug’s Barter 6 project—and the subsequent back-and-forth’s that ensued—you would have thought that Thugger had learnt his lesson when it comes to pressing Lil Wayne’s buttons. It appears not…

During a newly published interview with No Days Off Radio, Young Thug announced that he plans to release a mixtape titled Tha Carter V before letting loose his upcoming album, Hy!£UN35.

“I’m gonna drop probably one more mixtape before my album. The album is called ‘Hy!£UN35’ [HiTunes],” Young Thug said. “I’m gonna drop one more mixtape. I’ll probably name it ‘Tha Carter V,’ because the original ‘Tha Carter V’ still ain’t came out yet. I don’t know what the f*ck they’re doing – slow poking. So I’m gonna put that motherf*cker out for him.”

Later in the conversation, Young Thug opened up about his current label situation. It was believed that Thugger was represented by Birdman’s Rich Gang imprint, however, it appears as though that’s not true. During the interview, Young Thug revealed that he is currently signed to Atlantic Records and nobody else.

“Nah, I manage myself,” Thugger says when asked about his current management situation. “Nobody brung me here, so nobody can take me there. I manage myself. I’m signed with Atlantic [Records]. I have a big special deal with Atlantic, and it’s only Atlantic. I’m only signed to Atlantic. Birdman is my homie.”
