Jidenna‘s “Classic Man” sounds a lot like Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.” And Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” sounds a lot like something DJ Mustard would produce. DJ Mustard might’ve been silent in recent months, but he notices all.

Although “Classic Man” doesn’t directly sample “Fancy,” Jidenna revealed in a radio interview that he gave Azalea’s team songwriting and producer credit to keep himself and Wondaland Records in the clear. Can’t spend your 19th century outfit budget on legal fees. However, DJ Mustard would also like some credit for that sparse, key-based riff. He spoke up about it on Twitter.
