When I was talking insta grams, last thing you wanted was your picture took.

We never thought we’d see the day Jay Z joins Instagram, but it happened, and his first post was epic.

The father to Blue Ivy Carter and legendary music mogul created his account on Saturday, and in true Jigga fashion, he decided to use HovSince96 as his handle. Paying homage to Michael Jackson, another legend, Jay posted a throwback of himself and the late musician dapping it up.

Don’t get too excited – Hov was quick to let fans know it might be his first and only post. Hov wrote:

“Happy Birthday to the King! This may be my first and last post.”

If you haven’t already, show some love to the King of Pop, as he would have been 57 years old yesterday.

Jay Z, proving to be a man of his word, deleted his Instagram page 12 hours later after quickly gaining 100,000 followers. He still has an Twitter page, even though that’s something he doesn’t use often. He did, however, have an chat with his fans back in 2013 and, most recently, go on to back up TIDAL, his music streaming service.
