Lil Wayne took to Twitter last night (November 1) to reveal that he plans on dropping No Ceilings 2 on Thanksgiving, November 26.

The project will act as a sequel to Wayne’s No Ceilings, the highly acclaimed mixtape that Weezy released six years ago on October 31, 2009.

No Ceilings 2 will be Lil Wayne’s third project this year, with the New Orleans, Louisiana rapper having already released Sorry 4 the Wait 2 as well as his Free Weezy Album.

Recently, Wayne was caught on camera going in over Drake’s “Back To Back Freestyle” as well as Future’s Dirty Sprite 2 cut, “Where Ya At.” There’s no word yet as to what tracks will be featured on Lil Wayne’s forthcoming mixtape, but, with a follow-up to one of Wayne’s most praised pieces of work on the horizon, it looks as though #WeezySeason is upon us.
