Two weeks have passed since Prince died, and the world is still fondly remembering the life of the timeless singer.

The latest celebration will come when many radio stations simultaneously play his hit “Nothing Compares 2 U” at 6:07 p.m. ET Wednesday night. The timing is so specific because the opening line for the song goes, “It’s been seven hours and 13 days since you took your love away.”

Wednesday evening will mark that same amount of time since the singer’s sudden passing on April 21. Minneapolis radio station KPMC started the idea, and is rallying other stations around the country to do the same.

We thought marking this moment over the airwaves with one of Prince’s most ubiquitous songs would be a wonderful way to honor his legacy. We hope that wherever Prince fans are, and whatever radio station they are listening to, they will take a minute to listen and remember his musical genius and artistry,” KPMC’s Jim McGuinn told Billboard.

“Nothing Compares 2 U” was originally written by Prince for the band The Family, and in 1990, Sinead O’Connor won three MTV VMAs for her cover of the song.

Instead of a moment of silence, let’s enjoy this moment of music.
