The Tupac biopic is finally nearing release.

While a premiere date is months away, the newly unveiled teaser trailer for All Eyez On Me, which dropped on Pac’s birthday today, gives us a glimpse at one of the West Coast’s best emcees in his heyday.

The trailer is scarce on details, but shows how well actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. embodies Tupac. We’re also able to get a glimpse at Pac balancing his gangsta rap persona with his more socially conscious side.

The film hit a few road blocks with John Singleton and Carl Franklin at the head, but has come to fruition with Benny Boom as director.

According to IMDB, the film is set to release on November 11, two months after the 20th anniversary of Shakur’s murder.
